DEfend the police

Police Officers put their lives on the line for us every single day. And, yes, there are good and bad cops, just like in every other profession, but there is no reason to push a "defund the police" movement.

Simply put, if we defund the police we are risking the lives of millions of people, particularly those in urban America. When white and black well-to-do liberals advocate defunding the police, they do not consider the potential harm to blacks and Hispanics, particularly in distressed areas.

Blacks and Hispanics have faithfully supported the Democratic Party, and yet this party with its wealthy liberals, many of whom can afford a private security force, act as if they do not care about the effects defunding the police would have.

Instead of attempting to defund the police, let us defend the police. They are the thin blue line between chaos and safety, between being able to walk down the street, and hiding in your house out of fear of being a victim of a crime. Therefore, I say again, "Defend the Police."
