The Greatest Generation - Remembering "D"Day

Today we remember the young men who stormed the beaches in Normandy, France to free France (and the world) from the Nazis.

We are free to frolic and enjoy our beaches because brave young men from all over the U.S., some very young, risked their lives and stormed the beach in France, to ensure that the world would be free.

We shall never forget their many sacrifices on June 6, 1944.

Freedom is not free. It must be fought for with blood, sweat, and tears, and preserved by each generation. And, we cannot thank the "Greatest Generation" enough. Thank you and God bless! You make us proud to be Americans!
