Rush LImbaugh, American Hero

As most of you know by now, the iconic conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh passed away today. We send our condolences to his family, and may he rest in peace.

Rush was more than just a conservative radio talk-show host. He became like a member of our families. Therefore, we like millions of others are saddened by the news. Rush influenced millions of us, and taught us how to stand and fight for the principals that this country was founded on.

Rush influenced me to become a conservative. I had no idea, like many other blacks, what it meant to be a "conservative" until I began listening to him. He made sense to me, and as a result, I started to question my allegiance to the Democratic Party. I, thanks to the late, great Rush Limbaugh, finally woke up.

Although he is gone from us physically, Rush will always be with us spiritually. He will always live in our hearts. May God rest his precious soul.
