MLK Day2021

Today we stop and remember one of the greatest heroes in American history, Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. King changed this country and the world with his message of social change and justice through non-violent means. Dr. King knew America was a great nation, and he was instrumental and successful in pushing the U.S. towards the goal of equality and unity. It not only had a positive effect for black Americans, but for all Americans.

We recognize that Dr. King, like all human beings, had his shortcomings and imperfections, but we can never deny that through his sacrifice the doors of equality and respect for blacks as true Americans were realized.

So, it is appropriate to take out time to say "thank you" and continue to "rest in peace" to this American giant. We thank God for that this great man passed through this earth, and changed the world.
