An Impeachment Farce

I was very happy that former President Donald Trump was acquitted on Saturday, February 13th. However, this was an impeachment process that should have NEVER taken place to begin with. It was all predicated on lies.

Number one, he never incited the melee on Capitol Hill. If you're honest and read the transcript from his speech on January 6, 2021, he specially mentioned making our voices heard "peacefully and patriotically." Number two, there were numerous people who witnessed voter and election fraud. Hearings were held in the swing states, and we all saw the infamous video from Georgia, showing that ballots were counted in the middle of the night after the Republicans and media were sent home. To say that voter and election fraud were not committed, you'd have to discount all of those average citizens who risked their lives to come forward to give eyewitness testimony as to what they saw on November 3rd, and what we saw with our own eyes.

Therefore, any vote to convict was a vote based entirely on lies, and the seven (7) Republicans who voted to convict should be ashamed of themselves.

President Trump and his family were put through hell for no reason, and the Republicans who betrayed him (and us) must be defeated. Oh, and by the way, we will never go back to being the party of Mitt Romney, Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, et al. We are a party of fighting Patriots!
