I stand with Asian Americans

Anti-Asian bigotry is evil and repulsive. Therefore, we will not be silent when our fellow Americans are attacked without cause.

Furthermore, as black Americans who seek the truth, we will not deny that most of the attacks have been committed by our fellow black Americans.

It's not the fault of Asian-Americans that they believe in the American Dream, and, as result, are willing to make sacrifices (and take risks) to live their dream.

Asian-Americans are among the most loyal, patriotic, and hard working people in this country.

Is it their fault that too many black Americans are reluctant to pursue their dream? That too many black Americans do not want to be entrepreneurs?

Do we not realize that Asian-Americans are willing to invest in urban communities? They open restaurants, beauty supply stores, and nail salons, etc., where as others are reluctant to open businesses in the inner city. And, I can personally attest to the fact that a number of these establishments hire black people.

We need to stop being jealous of Asian-Americans. They believe in hard work and education. It's not their fault that due to the broken and dysfunctional homes in our communities, many of us are not instilled with a solid work ethic, and we are not pushed to pursue a solid education or a marketable skill set.

Finally, let us be very clear: Asian-Americans are not responsible for COVID-19. Although evidence is growing that it originated in the Wuhan Lab in China, it is the Chinese Communist government that lied about COVID-19, not the Chinese people.

Asians have been a part of the American fabric and culture for more than 100 years, and we love and appreciate them.
