Critical Race theory is a betrayal of Rev.dr.MLK, Jr.'s Vision

I hope that we all understand that Critical Race Theory is a betrayal of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King's famous quote (and belief): "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

When we support movements like Black Lives Matter (and others) who resent white people and demonize them just because they are white, we are betraying Dr. King's belief, which came from his famous speech, "I have a Dream" (from 1963).

Critical Race Theory is reverse racism, wherein we blacks demonize whites, and blame them for essentially all that has gone wrong in our community.

Many of us (blacks) do not pursue the American Dream because we were brainwashed into thinking we can't make it in America due to racism, when, in fact, there are many successful and prosperous blacks, including former President Barack Obama.

And, the irony is, some of the most wealthiest and successful blacks are the ones pushing this myth that we are oppressed in America. As a result, they do great damage to impressionable young people, who then feel it's not worth pursuing a career or a better life.

And, another thing (to keep it real), the governmental benefits that many of us utilize (Section 8 for housing, food stamps, and social security insurance, etc.) are paid for by taxpayers. And, the last time I checked, white Americans make up the largest group of taxpayers in this country. So, we are biting the hand that feeds us.

The bottom line is, we are all Americans. And, we should live up to Dr. King's belief that we should be judged by the content of our character, not by the color of our skin. As a result, CRT must be rejected by all.
