COVID-19 and Bogus Numbers

The Centers for Disease Control does not appear to have a clear and consistent methodology for counting deaths because of COVID-19. They are adding in deaths in which the decedent tested positive for it, but did not die from or because of it. As a result, the number has been inflated. All along there should have been two categories: One for people who died directly from COVID-19, and those who tested positive for it but who died from other causes - heart attack, diabetes, etc. Therefore, we do not know the true number of people who died specifically due to COVID-19, and this is a shame. If President Trump asked the Director of the CDC for a good approximation on the number of people who died specifically due to COVID-19, he won't be able to give him a good number. For example, on the CDC's site (as of May 1st, 2020), the reported number of deaths was 37,308; however, on their main site, it says over 60K have died from it. Where are they getting this number? As I have been saying for weeks on FaceBook, while COVID-19 is real, the hysteria is not. However, in order to justify the continued shutdowns and to justify the hysteria and panic, the leftists want the number to be as high as possible. And, if the CDC is playing into the hysteria, they are doing an injustice to the American people. We can only hope that the CDC was not weaponized, as was the FBI and Dept of Justice, under Obama.
