Police officers are heroes. I live in the inner city, and I know that without police officers patrolling my community, my life (and my neighbors' lives) would be in danger. It is a fact of life that communities that need the police the most, particularly the black community, disrespect them the most. Our children must be taught to respect police officers, because they go through hell in order to protect the innocent. I salute them, and pray for their safety.
